Britain’s Ultimatum to Israel follows Canada and Italy Moves, with Washington Believed to be Pulling the Strings
In a stunning act of moral debasement and hypcrisy, Britain has threatened to cut arms sales to Israel and push for a Europe-wide embargo unless the Jewish state submits to demands for Red Cross visits to captured Nukhba terrorists, they who carried out the October 7 massacres and atrocities.
The craven stance, articulated by British Foreign Minister David Cameron, contrasts with Hamas’ persistent denial of allowing humanitarian access to more than 100 living Israeli hostages, including those holding dual UK-Israeli citizenship.
The demand not only undermines Israel’s security protocols but blatantly ignores the ICRC’s abject failure to secure visits or deliver promised medical aid to Israeli hostages at the hands of Hamas.
Israel, despite its commitment to international law, reserves the right to restrict access for security reasons. Foreign Minister Israel Katz’s rebuke of the British demand notes that such external pressures only empower Hamas, emboldening the terrorist organization in hostage-ceasefire.
The weakling British approach is more symbolic than practical, since the Israeli need for inferior weapons from the UK is negligible. But the audacity of the UK taking the side of the terrorists is stunning, suggesting a dangerous precedent where international actors prioritize terrorist rights over the safety and well-being of hostages and the broader imperatives of national security, rewarding terrorist attacks.
This move by Britain not only strains diplomatic ties with Israel but also casts a long shadow over the principles of justice and fairness on the international stage. It inadvertently lends legitimacy to terrorist groups while sidelining the plight of victims—both Israeli and British citizens—caught in the crossfire of ideological battles and geopolitical maneuvers.
Ultimately, it seems, the UK is dancing to the tune set by the deep state puppeteers in the Washington swamp, insisting on going head to head with an Israeli government intent on winning the war against the terrorists who carried out the October 7 invasion.
Great article! Gosh the English are great at using English!
Craven and debased so accurate. Yes pushed by Washington and the other antisemites.
As soon as I saw the headline my nose told me that I smelled David Cameron. When I began reading the story I was relieved and reassured that my instincts and olfactory sense were still intact.
