Massive Hamas Rocket Barrage on Central Israel

May 26, 2024 11:31 am | News, Ticker, Virtual Jerusalem

Hamas fired twelve rockets toward central Israel, in the first such attack in months. The Iron Dome defense system intercepted most incoming projectiles. There were reports of unintercepted landings of rockets and also injuries from falling rocket shrapnel.

Hamas took responsibility for the attack, and reports indicate that the source of the fire was in Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, where the IDF is now operating with greater intensity. In recent days there have been reports of the discovery of launchers primed and ready to fire long-range rockets from the area. Today it appears to be a case of: use it or lose it.

One of the rockets landed in the Arab town of Kalkilya in the West Bank. Others targeted Tel Aviv, Raanana, Petah Tikvah and Herzliya. There are reports of a light casualty in the latter attack, with the injury from falling rocket shrapnel after an interception.

Thanks, UN, Ireland Spain, and everyone else stupid enough to think a “Palestinian” state was going to result in”peace”! There already IS a “Palestinian” state (Jordan), and there hasn’t been peace all these decades!

The launching of the rockets gives Netanyahu another reason for telling ICJ why he cannot comply with its order.
