Golan’s latest diatribe on Kan Reshet Bet cast Israel as a pariah state in the making — comparing it, with grotesque historical ignorance, to apartheid South Africa — unless it immediately stops defending itself. “A sane country,” he lectured, “does not fight against civilians, does not kill babies for a hobby, and does not give itself the aim of expelling populations.” That statement was met with gasps — not just for its vicious libel, but for its transparent self-loathing. Golan has officially joined the coalition of cowards who see moral clarity in unilateral retreat and salvation in international applause.

Let’s call the roll of the Defeatist Club. There’s the “Ceasefire Now” brigade of self-styled human rights NGOs, which has never demanded Hamas disarm or release hostages.
