Katz Warns About Opening ‘Gates of Hell’ in Gaza. Again.

As Trump forthrightly and bluntly urges Israel to “finish the job,” Netanyahu’s war cabinet talks tough—while airdropping aid and tiptoeing around Hamas, and with messaging conveying confusion and indecision. What the hell are we waiting for?

Here we go again.

Defense Minister Israel Katz has once again promised to open the “gates of hell” in Gaza, as if repetition might substitute for results. The threat—identical in phrasing to his last two—was delivered Sunday as Israeli planes simultaneously airdropped humanitarian aid to the areas supposedly being prepared for destruction. It’s war-by-paradox.

Meanwhile, across the Atlantic, former U.S. President Donald Trump stood in Scotland and said what every Israeli citizen is thinking: “Hamas doesn’t want peace. They want terror. Israel should finish the job, once and for all.”

It’s not just a green light—it’s a billboard lit up over the Atlantic: Go. Now. Win.

And yet… the gates remain firmly closed. The IDF remains stuck in holding patterns. 60% control? 70% control? And ready to abandon it all if Hamas makes an encouraging peep.

Despite all of Bibi’s bravado, his government continues to treat this like a PR war, not a war for national survival.

Speak Loudly, Drop Aid, and Hope for the Best?

Teddy Roosevelt famously said, “Speak softly and carry a big stick.” Today, Israel’s strategy is closer to: “Yell loudly, airdrop food, and argue over ceasefire drafts that will never be accepted. The government policyhas become a laughing-stock and Israel’s position keeps deteriorating.”

They talk tough. They hold press conferences. They warn of fire and fury. And then we deliver diesel, flour, and medical supplies to the same neighborhoods harboring Hamas command posts. They threaten Hamas with annihilation—while giving them time, materials, and breathing room to survive.

Enough with the metaphor. Pick up the fricking stick. Swing it already!

Less diddling. More action. Enough talk the talk. Walk the walk. And win the war.

Hostage Reality Check: These Are POWs, Not Bargaining Chips

A major excuse for this delay—let’s say it plainly—has been the hostage issue. Israel’s leaders remain paralyzed by fear that a bold offensive might endanger the remaining captives. But we are now down to 20 living male captives, most taken prisoners from military outposts during the October 7 attacks. It is morally backwards to allow a genocidal terror group to hold the State of Israel hostage under threat of killing our POWs.

Israel must not delay victory any longer. We did not start this war. Hamas did. And now that we’re in it, we must win it—fully, decisively, and without apology. The lives of 20 soldiers are precious. But they cannot dictate the fate of 10 million citizens

Trump: “Finish the Job. No Excuses.”

From Scotland, Trump said it plainly and repeatedly: “This could end tomorrow—if Hamas lays down its arms. But they won’t. So finish the job.”

It was a call not for negotiation, not for moral hesitation, not for an endless series of diplomatic backflips—but for victory. Real, lasting, total victory.

And he’s right. There is no “deal” to be had here. Hamas does not want a deal. They want to survive, to claim victory by delay, and to live to fight another day. Our current policy—this constant zigzag between threats and appeasement—is letting them.

The Americans are no longer the obstacle. Trump has made that clear. The world will not stop Israel. The only thing stopping Israel… is Israel.

Humanitarian Madness

While Katz was issuing his “gates of hell” warning, Israeli aircraft were simultaneously dropping food and medicine across Gaza. COGAT officials were on the phone coordinating more convoys. It’s not a war plan. It’s a diplomatic hallucination.

This aid is not winning hearts and minds. It is extending Hamas’s capacity to fight—and delaying the end of the war.

Humanitarian aid should never be weaponized against the nation providing it. Yet here we are, ten months in, still feeding the enemy while they shoot at our cities and hold our soldiers underground. Each day is a disaster waiting to happen, and the attrition is not theoretic. Soldiers are dying daily. And for what? Ensuring that the Hamas guards are well fed?

The Time for Dithering Is Over

The well-fed Katz talks tough. The Prime Minister warns of decisive action. The generals issue operational readiness statements. But every new ultimatum is met with… nothing. Delay. More meetings. Another fruitless truce draft. More dithering. Some dathering.

The Defense Minister presides instead over the demolition of a high-rise destroyed by an Iranian missile. Some message.

And all the while, Hamas regroups. Its fighters reemerge. Its terror tunnels are reinforced. Its propaganda machine spins Israeli indecision into “victory.”

This is not how a country wins a war. If we know Hamas can’t be negotiated with, and if we know the Americans back us, and if we believe in the justice of our cause—then why the hell are we waiting?

Victory is not a slogan, Defense Minister. It is a decision.

And Israel must make it—now.
