Flotilla farce ends with humiliation as Israel sends “climate” how dare you” former influencer packing in budget economy, parking her in a non-reclining window seat near the loo. “Human rights” terror supporters refused to watch screening of October 7 atrocities, 8 refused deportation, preferring to extend their stay in detention in Israel. Trump and Sweden mock her claim of “kidnapping.“
In the end, ex-influencer Greta Thunberg’s renewed bid for international attention didn’t end in fireworks, martyrdom, or a new round of hashtags—it ended with a non-reclining middle seat near the lavatories on a budget flight out of Ben Gurion Airport.
After being detained aboard the intercepted flotilla ship Madleen, the Swedish climate activist was formally deported from Israel this week. Sources confirmed she and several of her fellow activists were escorted to the airport, processed by the Interior Ministry, and placed on a commercial flight back to Europe. Thunberg, known for her performative disdain for air travel, reportedly made no protest about the flight.
“She seemed a bit less angry than usual,” said a passenger.“ She looked tired and confused, like a teen without an iphone.”
The ragtag motley crew of leftists had hoped to stir global outrage by sailing a publicity yacht filled with token aid to Hamas-run Gaza. But they were intercepted calmly and lawfully by the Israeli Navy and rerouted to Ashdod. Their plan to provoke a maritime crisis collapsed within minutes. They were business munching sandwiches handed out by their “kidnappers.”
According to Israeli officials, eight of the activists refused deportation, though it’s unclear whether this is part of a new legal stunt or simply confusion over processing. The Ministry of Interior confirmed they remain in Israeli custody while their status is reviewed.
Before deportation, Thunberg and the other activists were offered a voluntary screening of security footage documenting the atrocities committed by Hamas on October 7th. According to sources, Greta and her companions refused to watch the film.
“They weren’t interested,” said one government official. “Apparently they know everything already, even about a country they’ve never set foot in before last week. Why watch footage when you’ve already written your tweet?”
Their refusal didn’t go unnoticed. While victims’ families continue to mourn the more than 1,200 civilians slaughtered on October 7, including infants, the flotilla activists preferred to cling to their narrative of a “besieged” Gaza—ignoring Hamas’s terror, the hostage crisis, and the daily rocket fire faced by Israeli communities.
Asked whether Sweden would lodge a formal protest, a spokesperson for the Swedish Foreign Ministry reportedly shrugged off the matter, stating there was no basis for diplomatic intervention. Even Thunberg’s home country wasn’t buying the kidnapping act.
That didn’t stop President Donald Trump from weighing in with characteristic sarcasm. “I think Israel has enough problems without kidnapping Greta Thunberg,” he quipped, mocking her self-pitying rhetoric. “Her fake rage act might work on clueless Europeans, but Israel doesn’t need her performance.”
Trump’s jab was widely seen as a total dismissal of Thunberg’s role in the affair—a verdict shared by most serious analysts. The flotilla delivered no aid. It violated maritime law. And it failed to garner any sustained international attention beyond a few embarrassing selfies and the now-viral footage of activists dumping iPhones and laptops into the sea to avoid detection.
What Thunberg may have hoped would be a career-defining moment of resistance ended with soggy electronics, cold sandwiches, and deportation orders. Her “how dare you” moral fury ran aground in Ashdod. Israel didn’t play along. It didn’t bite. It didn’t panic.
It simply intercepted, processed, fed her, and sent her packing by the potty.
She came to defy a nation at war. She left on a budget flight. No movie.
Her flotilla for fame failed. Flotsam on the froth of the sea. Sharing the fate of her iphone.
Another washed-up leftist mistaking stupid stunt for constructive strategy.
At least she seem to enjoy her Israeli snacks.

I never need to hear another word from that girl from Sweden, or any of her companions, since I learned that they refused to watch video evidence of the atrocities committed against Israeli civilians on October 7, 2023. Anyone who is unwilling to look at evidence that could be enlightening has no right to continue dialogue about any subject.
Is is the same with everyone who is demonstrating in support of Hamas in our sad, sick world?
