A terrorist mowed down pedestrians on a sidewalk in north Tel Aviv suburb of Ramat Hachayal, injuring seven, one in serious condition.
The attack occurred during lunchtime in on Pinchas Rosen street. The terrorist swerved intentionally onto to the sidewalk at a bus stop.
Armed civilians and a police officer intervened and shot the driver dead. See graphic video on Twitter. Paramedics are providing medical treatment and evacuating the injured to the Meir, Beilinson and Ichilov hospitals. A 46-year-old woman is in serious condition with multiple injuries.
The assailant emerged from the vehicle and started stabbing pedestrians. He was shot dead, and later identified as a 23 year old resident of Mt. Hebron in Judea.
