If We Pay the Price, Let’s Get the Goods

ICC hypocrisy demands Israel act decisively and unapologetically, without giving a damn what others think. It’s time to give the hypocrites a taste of their own medicine and expose their distorted values.

The International Criminal Court (ICC) has once again demonstrated its unparalleled ability to twist justice into farce. By issuing arrest warrants for Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and others, the ICC equates those defending civilians with Mohammed Deif—the undisputed champion of suicide bombings and mass murder.

Deif, whose bloody résumé included the deaths of hundreds of Israelis, lives freely to plan his next massacre. Or, wait, well, maybe not. I guess the esteemed justices have no time to read the news. Just as well. Is it not ironic enough the fact that they are called justices?

So the ICC has decided that Israeli leaders deserve the title of war criminals. The logic is stunningly clear: Protect civilians? Jail time. Murder them? Immunity.

This isn’t just hypocrisy—it’s a parody of morality. The ICC, ostensibly the apex of international justice, has become the playground of political posturing and anti-Israel bias. Tyrants and genocidal maniacs rest easy knowing the court won’t come for them as long as there’s an Israeli to target. If Gallant’s actions to protect his nation warrant a Hague indictment, NATO commanders might as well start booking flights. Oh, wait—they won’t, because the ICC wouldn’t dare.

A wise rabbi once said, “If you’re going to pay the price, you may as well get the goods.” The lesson here is simple: If Israel is already being vilified and its leaders accused of crimes they haven’t committed, why should we waste another second pretending the ICC’s opinion matters? Israel must unapologetically implement the “Generals’ Plan”—a step-by-step takeover of Gaza, with restricted supplies, moving inexorably from north to south until Hamas surrenders, lays down its arms, and releases all the hostages. That is the determination that Israel’s leaders must now show.

Hamas’ terror regime has turned Gaza into a human shield factory, where war crimes are their daily policy. The ICC won’t notice, of course—it’s too busy issuing frivolous arrest warrants for Israeli leaders and paying lips service to “punishing” dead terrorist murderers like Deif.

If Israel is going to be accused of crimes no matter what, it’s time to for the leadership to focus on securing its borders, protecting its people, and bringing its kidnapped citizens home.

And while we’re on the topic of warped priorities, let’s not forget the ICC’s own house of horrors. The current president of the court is fighting multiple allegations of sexual harassment. How about a warrant for him? Israel should consider banning officials with such track records from setting foot on Israeli soil. If the ICC insists on criminalizing morality, Israel could take the moral high ground by blocking sexual harassers from entering. Judging by the ICC’s internal scandals, there’s no shortage of candidates.

Moreover, Israel should rethink its hospitality toward ICC-signatory nations that enable this circus. Why should their ambassadors and ministers enjoy Israel’s hospitality while they give legitimacy to a court that mocks justice? Shut the doors to their self-righteous hypocrisy. Make them understand that actions have consequences. It seems that Israel’s new Foreign Minister has already disinvited a senior Dutch delegation.

With the likely return of Donald Trump to the White House, this resolute approach will find support from Israel’s strongest ally. Biden’s puppeteers want to restrict weapons and slap Israel’s wrists? I don’t think that will scare anybody.

The world respects strength, not moral grandstanding. Israel’s fight against terror is the frontline of global security, and appeasement is no strategy for survival.

The ICC’s actions are not just unjust—they are dangerous. By targeting those who defend against terror and ignoring those who perpetuate it, the court emboldens the very forces destabilizing the world. Let history judge Israel’s courage to act, not the hypocrisy of a court that has long abandoned its principles.

The ICC can keep its sham rulings. Israel must do what is necessary, without apology or hesitation. If the price is already being paid, it’s time to make sure we get the goods. And let the others puppeteers and hypocrites pay too. Double.

While Israel is at it why don’t they “take out the capital of Iran”, those leaders of moral behavior!
