In Eli, a Jewish community in Samaria, a terrorist arrived at a gas station and opened fire on a civilian car with his PA-issued M-16 rife before being gunned down by a cool-headed Israeli who had just returned from reserve duty in Gaza.
Rabbi and police volunteer Yitzhak Zeiger, 57 and the father of 3 and Uriah Hartum, 16, from Dolev, were fatally wounded.

The IDF said the assailant, later identified as a Palestinian Authority policeman, was shot dead at the scene by the owner of a nearby hummus restaurant. Aviad Gazbar, recently returned from reserve duty in the Gaza Strip, said he “heard shots” and responded with accurate shots. Watch his video (in Hebrew). Or watch him in action.
