Abu Obeida, Hamas’ military spokesperson, speaking on the 100 days anniversary of the October 7 “Al-Aqsa Flood” attack, has pointed to the arrival of red heifers in Israel as a trigger for war. The red heifer is a key element in a purification ritual, particularly for those who have been contaminated through contact with a corpse, of which there is no shortage these days.
