Burns Assures Hamas of Israeli Compliance, Promises War Halt Post-Deal

Reports that CIA Chief secured Hamas commitment to accept deal at Israel’s expense, with the US violating previous assurances to Israeli leaders and setting them up for a trap.

CIA Director William Burns has reportedly assured Hamas that the United States would ensure Israel’s compliance with a proposed cease-fire agreement, emphasizing that hostilities would not resume following the deal. This assurance came during intensive negotiations aimed at securing the release of hostages and initiating a cease-fire in the conflict that has gripped Gaza for over six months.

Burns’ assurances were part of broader discussions that included high-level intelligence officials from Israel, Qatar, and Egypt, focusing on a detailed proposal to pause the ongoing war. The talks, held in various European capitals, aimed to establish a framework for peace that would include the phased release of hostages and the cessation of military operations.

The revelation of Burns’ assurances undermines the Israeli position, preventing Israel from completing its war aims. These developments occur amid domestic and international scrutiny over leaked statements by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who was revealed to have disparaged Qatari mediation efforts.

In a rare Sabbath announcement, a “senior government official” reiterated that Israel would carry out the Rafah operation. Israeli media hurried to report that the senior official was Netanyahu.

Hamas’s demand for a complete halt to the fighting remains a central issue, with Netanyahu’s administration rejecting any suggestions that might indicate a permanent end to military actions. So the stage is set either for Hamas to reject the deal, or for Israel to reject the terror group’s acceptance. Stormy seas appear ahead.

Who do these US people think they ARE??? The US has NO RIGHT to speak for Israel, especially without her consent! Israel is not an US territory or protectorate of any sort! Yhwh God will not ignore this. The US will pay, and the price will be STEEP!

Since when does the US govt. run the govt. of Israel? Pay for play? Israel should tell Biden and his filthy minions to go pound sand.

It seems one should ascertain how many hostages are actually alive before haggling over their release. Besides that, Hamas has never kept a ceasefire agreement with Israel. One was broken within the day, and others are always broken by hamas. We had a ceasefire on Oct. 6, which they broke on Oct 7. No, we should not do ceasefires, only continue Bibi’s plan to destroy all terrorists in Gaza. Nothing less will do.

Exactly. Typical CIA meddling as per usual. They’ve created chaos in several countries over many years. Am Yisrael Chai!
