“Over the Top”: Bumbling Biden, Mixing up Mexico with Egypt, Slams IDF Actions in Gaza as Excessive

Rambling and incoherent response, letting negotiating secrets slip, confirms that the President is cognitively impaired, too incompetent to be prosecuted. Or continue to serve.

The beleaguered American Presidenr, in a hastily called press conference defending himself a special counsel’s report into classified document handling which assailed his competence and memory, proceeded to confirm in real-time his cognitive chaos.

To a follow-up question about the Mideast, Biden returned to the podium and bizarrely mixed up the President of the US southern border with the President on Israel’s border in a harsh attack on the Israeli response to the Hamas assault on the Jewish State on October 7.

“I think as you know initially, the president of Mexico, El-Sisi, did not want to open up the gate to humanitarian material to get in. I talked to him. I convinced him to open the gate,” Biden said.

Then he dropped a bomb on Israel. “I’m of the view, as you know, that the conduct of the response in Gaza, in the Gaza Strip, has been over the top,” he told reporters at the White House in response to a question as he was walking offstage after an impromptu evening address announced only about two hours prior.

Strangely, just yesterday, Biden had used the same expression – “a little over the top” to describe the response of Hamas to the US-Egyptian-Qatari proposal for a humanitarian pause and phased hostage release. There he was unable to remember the name of Hamas, stumbling and staring helplessly for long seconds before calling the terror group “the opposition.”

So now, according to the bewildered octogenarian, both Israel and Hamas were “over the top.”

Biden had the day before confused the President of Germany with the President of France, Mitterand, referring to a recent meeting with his French counterpart even though Mitterand has been dead for a quarter century.

The special counsel had noted in the report that there was no taste to bring charges against the President because he had demonstrated faulty memory in depositions taken in October, including being unable to remember when his son Beau had died, not even within several years.

Reporters and even Biden supporters were taken aback by the scattered, emotional tone of his special national announcement and press conference, mysteriously called just two hours before the event, without explanation.

Republicans seized on the bizarre series of gaffes and missteps as proof of the President’s declining competence, some suggesting that it was long overdue to apply the terms of the 25th amendment, created to remove the President should he become incompetent.

Following is the full and unedited transcript of what the Commander in Chief of the United States had to say, revealing in two run-on sentences filled with hints to classified material, undermining negotiations, revealing diplomatic secrets, undermining the United States’ own diplomacy and disparaging closest ally in the Mideast, painting himself as the sole savior of Gaza and Israel both:

“I’m of the view, as you know, that conduct of the response in Gaza, in the Gaza Strip, has been over the top. I think that, as you know, initially President of Mexico (Sic) Sisi (sic) did not want to open up the gate to allow humanitarian material to get it in. I talked to him. I convinced him. I talked to Bibi top open the gate on the Israeli side, I ‘ve been pushing him really hard, really hard, to let humanitarian assistance into Gaza there are a lot of innocent people are starving a lot of innocent people are in trouble and dying and it’s gotta stop. Number One. Number Two. I was also in the position that I’m the guy who made the case that we have to do much more to increase the amount of material going including fuel including other items, I ‘ve been on the phone with Qataris, on the phone with the Egyptians, on the phone with the Saudis to get as much aid as we possibly can into Gaza they’re innocent people innocent women and children who are also in bad badly need of help and so that’s what we’re pushing and I’m pushing very hard now to deal with this hostage ceasefire because, as you know, I’ve been working tirelessly in this deal — how can I say this without revealing … to lead to a sustained pause in the fighting in the actions taking place in the Gaza Strip and uh because I think if we can get the delay for the initial delay I think that uh we would be able to uh extend that uh so that we can increase the prospect that this fighting in Gaza changes there’s also negotiations you may recall in the very beginning right after right before Hamas attacked I was in contact with the Saudis and others to work out a deal where they would recognize Israel’s right to exist let them make them part of the Middle East recognize them fully in return for certain things that the United States would commit to do and the commitment that we were proposed to do related to two two items I’m not going to go in detail but one one of them was to deal with um the protection against their archenemy to the northwest northeast I should say the second one by providing ammunition and material for them to defend themselves. Coincidentally that’s the time frame when this broke out. I have no proof what I’m about to say but it’s not unreasonable to suspect that the Hamas understood what was about to take place and wanted to break it up before it happened.”

This is how the President of the United States expresses himself!

Yesterday, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, in a Jerusalem press conference, shocked Israelis by saying that the inhumane actions of Hamas in southern Israel on October 7 and its treatment of Israeli hostages “cannot be a license to dehumanize others. “

Israeli officials were reluctant to address Biden’s embarrassing gaffes and turnarounds on the record.  Requests by Israeli media to the White House for clarifications of his remarks have yet to be answered.
