IDF confirms the elimination of the terrorist at the scene after the deadly attack at the Allenby Crossing which killed 3 Israelis. The terrorist was driving a truck with “humanitarian aid.”

Three Israelis were murdered in a shooting attack at the Allenby Crossing on Sunday morning, according to Magen David Adom (MDA). The attack, which took place near the Jordanian border, left three men in their 50s fatally wounded by gunfire, despite intense efforts by paramedics and the IDF medical team.

“This is a very severe incident,” MDA paramedic Yotam Tzur recounted. “We found three men lying unconscious, with no pulse and not breathing, with gunshot wounds. Together with the IDF medical team, we performed resuscitation efforts, but unfortunately, we had to declare their deaths on scene.”

The terrorist responsible for the attack was eliminated by IDF security forces. According to the military, the terrorist had driven a truck from the Jordanian side of the border before abandoning the vehicle and opening fire on the Israeli forces stationed at the crossing.

“Troops were on the scene and operating to rule out the existence of explosive devices on the truck,” the IDF added, indicating that the area was being secured following the attack.

United Hatzalah paramedic Avi Yudkovsky, who also responded to the incident, described the scene as “very difficult.” He explained that despite rapid medical response, “three men in their fifties sustained severe gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to resuscitate them, they were pronounced dead at the scene due to the severity of their injuries.”

The Allenby Bridge, a critical crossing between the West Bank and Jordan, was closed in the aftermath of the attack. Jordanian officials confirmed that an investigation had been launched to determine the circumstances of the attack. A Jordanian official told Reuters that the bridge, referred to as the King Hussein Bridge on the Jordanian side, would remain shut during the ongoing investigation.

This incident has heightened tensions in the area, which has seen a rise in violent attacks in recent months. The Allenby Crossing is a crucial transit point for Palestinians traveling between the West Bank and Jordan, and Sunday’s attack is likely to prompt increased security measures on both sides of the border.

As of now, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack, but Israeli officials have condemned the violence and reiterated their commitment to securing the country’s borders. The names of the victims have not yet been released, pending notification of their families.

This attack follows a series of violent incidents in the West Bank, where both Israeli security forces and civilians have been targeted in recent months, contributing to an already tense and volatile situation in the region. Jordan, which shares a long border with Israel and the West Bank, has historically played a key role in maintaining security cooperation in the area. The incident at the Allenby Bridge underscores the ongoing challenges faced by both nations in preventing cross-border terrorism.

In the wake of the attack, Israeli officials are expected to review border security protocols to prevent similar incidents in the future. The Allenby Bridge remains a strategic location, serving as one of the main points of transit between the West Bank and Jordan, with thousands of people crossing each week.

The investigation is ongoing, and security forces remain on high alert as they work to ensure the area is secure and free from any additional threats.

Maybe it’s time to initiate a genuine siege on all “Palestinian” territories! Truly cut them off from supplies, ’til they grasp that they can’t afford to keep Hamas any longer, if they want to live, and make clear they either living in peace with Israel, or leave. They will no longer be welcome on Israeli soil under any other condition. And, make no mistake, Judea and Samaria, as well as Gaza ARE Israeli soil, not “Palestinian” land!
