After 7 weeks in captivity, 13 of about 238 hostages are reported to be on their way back to Israel. They are believed to be children and women, reportedly from the kibbutz communities. At least two are elderly. 12 Thai hostages were also released.

The freed hostages are now reportedly out of Hamas terrorist hands, on their way to the Rafah crossing to Egypt, from where they will be handed over to Israeli authorities.

They are now reportedly in the hands of the Red Cross, which has been completely negligent and dismissive in doing the bare minimum throughout the war. They have not inspected any of the other hostages or provided proof of life, identity or any essential medications. On the contrary, Israeli hostages have died or been murdered in Gaza hospitals.

After confirmation of their identities by Israel security personnel, they are to taken to hospitals in Israel for checkups and reunion with their families.

Israeli has released 39 female and teenage terror convicts, women and teenagers.
