Blatts Broccoli Casserole

4 10oz. frozen chopped broccoli
1 8oz. can sliced water chestnuts, drained
1 c. chopped pecans
1 env. onion soup mix
1 egg
bread crumbs
¾c. butter or margarine, melted
1c. shredded cheddar cheese, optional
Directions: Cook broccoli according to package directions and drain
well. Stir in water chestnuts, pecans and onion soup mix. Beat eggs
and add to broccoli mixture. Pour into a greased 9*13 casserole
and cover top with bread crumbs. Pour melted butter over crumbs.
If desired, sprinkle shredded cheddar over top. Bake in a preheated
350F oven for 30 minutes.
