Chocolate
Almond Meringues

Ingredients:
6-oz. pkg. chocolate chips
3 egg whites
½ tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. finely chopped almonds
Instructions:
Melt chocolate chips in microwave
or in top of a double boiler. Cool 5 minutes. Beat egg whites and
vanilla together until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar and
beat until very stiff. Fold in almonds and the melted, cooled chocolate.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets. Bake in a preheated
350F oven for 10-12 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet and cool on
racks.
