EasyJet, Europe's leading low-fares airline launched its very first flight on the brand new London/Tel Aviv route on Monday. 171
passengers and top officials from the company took off from the UK in a shiny new Airbus A320, and a few hours later landed in Tel Aviv. This new route is proving to be exciting news for many Israelis and Europeans alike as EasyJet boasts some very reasonable rates for air travel within Europe and is extending this convenience to its newest route.
UK Regional General Manager Paul Simmons said, "As the only low fares airline for the London-Tel Aviv route, EasyJet offers great opportunities to both British and Israeli travellers. With expected 100,000 passengers a year, EasyJet will provide a significant contribution to the Israeli tourism industry."
